Meet the Optimum Marketing team! We're a mix of digital marketing specialists focused on delivering fantastic results for our clients. We provide online marketing services to small and medium sized businesses throughout New Zealand.

There are two of us in the marketing team: Pierre as the online marketer, Sara-Jane as the graphic designer/brand manager.
Pierre Woolridge.As owner of Optimum Marketing I’ve been developing, implementing, managing and optimising digital marketing strategies since 2001. I'm passionate about helping firms flourish by applying real world knowledge and expertise to their online marketing.
I enjoy helping people and firms succeed online with their generation of business leads. My experience includes:
- Email marketing as in creating content and sending newsletters
- Developing LinkedIn profiles and the associated marketing of these profiles
- Writing content for website and the creation of websites
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) boosting the website's presence online
Having previously worked in field of strategic, business and market planning I bring this experience to bear as we work together to achieve a common goal.
I always have a smile on my face when enjoying a glass of wine and food with good friends and family. In the rest of my spare time, I like to rebuild and ride classic scooters and motorcycles. Mind you, I also own a modern bike!
A Governance book for new directors of incorporated societies
I’ve written a book, Getting to Grips with Non-for-Profit Governance, due out in October, provides essential guidance for new and aspiring committee and board directors. It is the first printed NZ-specific book on governance on sale to the public for years.
I’ve based the book on my decades of experience. Like many, I started out on a school board, before contributing to a variety of not-for-profit boards and committees as a director, committee member, trustee, chair, and treasurer.

Sara-Jane Austen. Dedicated to multiple disciplines of graphic design, I thrive on giving businesses the opportunity to excel. Whether it be through branding, creative direction or photographic enhancements, I can come up with a solution that tailors to your own or your company’s needs.
My experience has given businesses that breath of fresh air they are needing through updated brand guidelines and logos, or something completely new and unique. Having worked on a variety of design projects, I know the importance of being noticed for all the right reasons within your market.
I am a qualified designer with a Higher National Diploma majoring in Graphic Design (UK). Over the last 19 years, I have created designs for entrepreneurs and companies worldwide including New Zealand, Australia, America, Bali and the UK.
My passions outside of work include working on personal art projects, spending time with my two amazing little humans, attempting to keep fit, and experimenting with new vegetarian recipes.
