Three Tips on Using LinkedIn for Growth
It seems amazing to me, in that I joined LinkedIn way back in December 2006! So, what have I learnt in that time? The first article I posted, soon after LinkedIn opened its publishing platform to all members, resulted in some 3,393 clicks, 314 likes and 77 comments. (Remaining in Contact with Existing Clients)
Since then, I’ve been a fan of LinkedIn, especially in recent times as approaching my LinkedIn connections has, in some cases, generated business for me.
Quick Wins on LinkedIn
LinkedIn offers opportunities to promote yourself and the business.
- If you have a company page consider having employees linking their individual profile to the company page.
- Did you know that it’s possible to have up to 10 Showcase pages? The showcase pages are an extension of the company page. They are designed to spotlight services, product and even brands. Suitable content? Simply use the content from your website.
- Once you have a company profile (or a showcase page), promote it. A good place to start is to place a LinkedIn icon on the website linked to the company profile.
